It never Fails!

Today we had an early start! We were able to wake up, eat, do some yoga, and take a walk. Inbetween all of the above math and history were completed. Took a drive down to Columbus and cashed a check. Treated my kids to fast food and went swimming.

Yellowstone river has gone down!

The thing that never fails is we arrive to a place that has no vault (portapotty/outhouse) and two minutes later we have to leave because one of the offspring needs to go number two.

If only there was a shovel at hand. Alas we had to leave and lose our parking spot. At least they had fun in the sun for those two minutes. Well luckily home was just a hop skip and jump away so we went back and crashed the tail end of Baptism.

Kaarina noticed what was happening and asked some questions one of which was “why are there so many people here to see a person get dunked in the water?” My answer was so they could witness a child devote themselves to God. This was in the most simplest terms I could think at the time.

Conspiring against me.

Just after taking this picture the oldest daughter came up to me as a distraction so the youngest could sneak and dump a whole bottle of cold river water on top of my head. Apparently they like to do sneak attacks. When I teach about working together I did not have in mind that they would learn to work together to cause trouble. Even though it was cold it did help with relaxing and laughter.

The best part about swimming is the mud we can create with.

I am still editing and adding to day four of our trip to Montana hopefully I will be able to post it soon. To those waiting read about day four thank you for being patient with me. Life gets chaotic sometimes.

I hope you all enjoyed reading/looking at the pictures. I appreciate you and thank you for stopping by.
