Bridges

Went on another riverwalk, but this time we walked in the opposite direction than the last time. This brought us to some bridges. Of course this gave Kaarina and her friend (we’ll call her Mer) the idea to practice their bridges.

Oops, wrong angle.

As we continued on they discovered a little grassy hill to roll down. (I did not get good pictures of this, the sun was making it difficult to see). When they were done rolling around we continued our walk only to discover a playground. This ended our little stroll for about 30 minutes then we headed back to the car to head home.

Perfect setting

Here we just enjoyed watching the kids run around and climb the structure. No pictures of this the phone was put away. There however was a lot of climbing, jumping, sliding, and swinging going on. The girls made a game of who could get to the top of the structure first and raced down the slides. By the time it was time to go they of course did not want to leave. Alas, we had to get home and eat food.

I did not capture the colors very well, but I love the reflections off the water.

I hope everyones weekend went well. Thank you for stopping by. This was just a post on unexpected moments where life was relaxed.

Where to begin! I am first a mom of three; one boy and two girls. We travel around the US with my husband and homeschool on the road! last year I learned to make homemade soap and sell it for a small income.
