July was my middle daughter’s birthday month. She has been wanting to ride a horse and asking for quite some time, so one weekend we took her. Afterward, we went river rafting. There is no picture of the rafting for obvious reasons. But below are some pictures of the horseback riding and sliding in Bear Tooth Pass. We saved sliding for birthday day at the end of the month. This post is about 6 months late but hey at least it is done now.
We were one of the first in the group to arrive for the ride. The excitement in the air was thick. Not only was last year the first time they rode a horse but it was also my first time. Riding a horse is less scary than I thought it would be. There was one point on the way back to the barn that I thought I was going to get thrown but it didn’t happen thank goodness. What happened was the horse my son was on nipped my horses hindquater and made it jump which made me screech.
