I hope everyone is doing well. A lot has transpired since the last time I wrote anything here. Three years ago we moved back home, our road ended up flooding and we had to live with a friend for 10 days when that happened.
Luckily only our basement got flooded but our road was taken out upto 6 feet below out generator. I have pictures but I do not want to search for them on my phone 🙃.
When things settled down I applied for a sub position at a local school and was called in so many times to one school in a certain program I ended up getting hired full time.
From there I took a course in behavioral intervention to become certified to receive a pay raise. This is going on my 2nd year in the program to help non verbal students be able to be integrated into class with their peers.
I am making soaps and lotions and selling to a local store. In the near future I will be teaching myself how to tan a hide to make a drum. I am excited about this endeavor because I remember attempting to tan a squirrels hide and tail when I was younger and I feel that I am meant to do this at this time.
But the weather here is bipolar and decided to turn cold again with a night below freezing. I hope to at least get the extra flesh off and in the wood ash water solution to at least get the hair off but we will see what happens I will post pictures if you all would like to see the progress. I might just post them anyways just for my benefit.
