Couch to 5k

Hi all! Yesterday I decided to get off my ass and start training for a 5k. It is not that I want to compete or anything but that I have been under a lot of stress for the past four years. In that time I had my middle child and learned my oldest has ADHD/ASD we also decided to take him out of public school and homeschool at the same time as travel around the United States with my husband their father. Needless to say my plate is very full and my body is not handling the stress very well as I age so here goes to jogging 3 days a week and learning how to manage my stress differently!

When I was done with my training we all went to the Mississippi aquarium! The kids loved seeing and comparing alligators and crocodiles. They were able to watch the otters get fed and the dolphins swim around in their tank.

These suckered are huge!
Basking in the sun in the perfect spot.
Look mom we found some otters!
Please stop hanging on the glass partition grrr!

Oh boy! Oh boy! Food is coming!

The kids went into the bird sanctuary with dad and I got to watch the dolphins without interruptions! No pictures of the birds I am sorry!

Kaarina was able to feel the shrimp tickle as it cleaned up her hand
Mom it tickles
Waiting patiently for the stimg ray to come and get touched
I just missed it but one sting ray came up to Charlie and splashed her lol 😆 😂
Puffer fish
Shark!

It was time for us to move along so the fish can have a break from all of the attention 🙃 🙂

This tank is huge! We are on the 3rd floor here! The girls are having a grand time watching them swim around.
The fun part walking through the tank to see all of the fishes bellies!
She spotted the windows at the bottom to see all fish in the coral.
I think this guy posed for me!
Cheese!
Sand shark 🦈 zee
It is so hard to capture moving objects!
I thought this was very neat!
He smiles 😃
The girls in the background! Mom come quick come through the tunnel!
