Alabama Hills

We went to Alabama hills, this past weekend. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend visiting the Eastern Sierra Nevada Alabama hills.

This was taken on our way back home.

Below is a picture of my girls looking at the map for the trails in the hills. We first stopped at a rock that had a face painted on it. Then we went to the shark finn and explored the tunnels and cave like formations in the rocks there.

Beginning of Alabama hills background Sierra Nevada mountain!
A painted rock! I could not resist taking a picture of.
Coming back from exploring I noticed the side eye!

If you walk around a little where the rock with the face is you find the tree that is below. This tree looked beautiful with it’s fall leaves still attached. The first picture I took of this tree was when I was standing on top of a Boulder.

This tree is standing so tall and proud just waiting for a stranger to come by and take a picture!

The cactus in the picture below was growing in a crack in the Boulder behind the tree.

Just a lonely cactus growing on a rock.

As I started looking up after looking down to make sure I had the right footing on the rock I was walking on. This lovely tree looked as if she was saying hello

A little fall in December! I was amazed the leaves were still attached to this tree.
I approached this tree from this angle and realized it looked like she was striking a pose!
This little girl walked right out in front of me just as I was taking a picture! I thought the red fabric made a lovely contrast with the yellow and orange leaves.
Playing beneath the tree!
Little tree huggers!
Sharkfinn rock
Another cactus! Growing alongside the trail we were on.
Love the formation of this rock! (Heart rock)
The eye from the bottom as I was walking up to it!

Charlie loves this pink cactus!

Thank you for stopping by and either looking at the pictures or reading. I hope you all have a lovely day.
