Boron, California

It has been a while since I have blog about anything. Life has been a bit crazy the last couple weeks and we have not been able to explore. However last weekend we were able to visit Boron, California.

First we went and checked out the pioneer park then ate at the 20 Mule Cafe. Right across the street is the 20 Mule Team mueseum. Afterwards we went next door to the Saxon Aerospace muesem, and checked out all of the air craft paraphernalia. My daughters enjoyed dusting all of the display cases.

At the Mule Team Museum the gentleman that was overseeing the counter gave us a lesson on the different types of Boron they use for their borax, but I did not take notes and completely forgot the names of the Boron that is used. I am going to have to start carrying a notebook around with me. Below are a gazillion pictures (an exageration, but there are a lot). Enjoy looking.

The Saxon Areospace mueseum pictures are below. This place was shut down for a while due to Covid. The volunteers who were there decided it was time to reopen it on their own. They walked around with us and answered questions my kids asked and the lady taught my daughters how to clean windows.

She kept yelling hello in this.
These are ski’s to put on the plane for when it is in the water.

Short and sweet! I hope you all have a wonderful day! Thank you for stopping by and seeing what we do. Have a wonderful weekend.

Where to begin! I am first a mom of three; one boy and two girls. We travel around the US with my husband and homeschool on the road! last year I learned to make homemade soap and sell it for a small income.
