Dissecting a Lily

This week we are learning about angiosperms in botany. We learned that Seeds are held in containers, for instance apples, cherries, pears, cucumbers, acorns, pinecone and so on and so forth.

The lesson for science is to disect a lily. Below Kaarina is pulling the petals off to glue to her science journal!

The lily’s we bought at the grocery store.
Pointing and observing the lily! She was really figuring it all out
Gluing petals
The last 3 were a bit harder to do then the petals those were very obvious!

We are doing Alpologia Botany science curriculum!

Sorry for not posting in a while life has been busy and a little uninspiring for me lately. This is just quick post for tonight. Thank you for stopping bye and either reading or looking at the Pictures. I hope everyone has had a wonderful day.
