Today was our lucky day! We had playing in the dirt scheduled for science! This made the girls very happy.

They were happy with this because I have been putting it off for a while now. Wish us luck that the plants do not die before they grow. It still gets pretty cold here in Mojave at night. Not to mention the fact that I am very forgetful when it comes to watering plants. Although my girls seem to enjoy it and do not hesitate to remind me.

As the days go by we well be watering and checking for growth as well as drawing what we see. We will be labeling the parts of plants as the emerge and we draw them.
