Wait! No! Stop!

Charlie don’t do that! Charlotte I said no more salt! No! No! No put the salt down! Gah i guess she felt that we needed some extra salt in our breakfast of spinach, eggs and bacon.

I had already seasoned our scrambled eggs, spinach! My youngest decided to season it more with salt! Le t me tell you we got our salt quota for the day!
She felt the bacon needed some extra salt as well! Luckily it was Pink Himalayan salt and not iodine table salt!

The eggs do not look appetizing anyways! What with them looking green from the spinach. While all of that was cooking my kids got all excited about a stick bug!

Look mom a stick bug!
This thing is itty bitty! But it seems to be fine with being held and watched.
Let’s see how long it stay on my arm! Mom he won’t let me hold the stick bug

When breakfast was done cooking and we had the food on plates Charlie says “can I be done now” huh no you wanted all that salt now eat the food you made! But let me tell you it was even difficult for me to eat it (so dang salty) its what I get for turning my back for a second!

We made through eating breakfast got our verbal math facts done and wrote in our journals, all before 10am central time. Since we found a stick bug our science lesson was about them.

My middle daughters portrait of a stick bug!
My eldest drew this one!

Our history lesson for my middle was watching a YouTube video on the Great wall of China then it somehow turned into videos of how to make bricks. We also learned how ancient Greece looked! My son is in the process of writing a poem of what he learned about California thus far.

Today it was rest day so we have been just walking around the Campground where we are at and just taking a nice relaxing funfilled learning day.
