Week 2 day 3 training/homeschool

Waking up an hour after my alarm went off is not my idea of a good time. It took about ten minutes for the motivation to kick in and go running. Let me tell you though it shocked me to no end that I did it anyways. I showed up for myself even though I did not get that 45 minute wakeup time that I usually need, to start the day.

Afterwards I came in, relaxed for about a half an hour while enjoying a glass of water and coffee.  When the coffee was gone I got off my ass and made a fritatta with left over steak, fresh asparagus, gouda cheese and eggs, I seasoned the egg mixture with yellow mustard, salt and pepper, and added some heavy whipping cream for fluffiness.

A picture of delishousness!

While that was cooking I did Travis Elliot’s 30 minute short and sweet yin yoga class on YouTube. This helped me release some tension I did not think I  was holding on to.

Damn Couch to 5k/10k had me running 90 sec and walking 2 minutes! What the heck 90 sec had me like come on say walk now please!

Now it is time to start the homeschool day!

My son took the initiative and got his vocabulary and math completed! This is exciting because usually he gets his work out to do but sits there staring off to space for about an hour and a half. But when his father told him to get some school work done he got it out opened up his book and got his work completed in no time. He did not fight and he did not need any reminders! No hearing I am doing my work when he is not actually doing it.

While the cartoons were playing on the TV my middle daughter traced her verse of the week. Now we just need to recite the verse. When she completed her tracing we did our addition facts verbally for memorization! Luckily today was an easy day they all got to go swimming this afternoon while I went grocery shopping

Staying consistent is not an easy task for me especially when it comes to exercising! Having to write about and letting the world know will help me continue with my couch to 5k/10k journey.
