Group couch to 5k/10k week 1 day 3

Usually when I train on my own a glass of water and a cup of coffee works for me. I love the early morning run but since I am now training with my three rug rats. We wait until an hour after we consume our breakfast. I worry about them getting sick if they don’t eat before the run and I also worry about it if we run to soon after eating.

My son decided to hold off on eating his breakfast so the run did not start until possibly ten in the morning. By that time the girls did not want to train they were willing to ride their bikes though. This I did not want them to do because I restarted the whole program for them. So they ran.

My youngest decided to wear her unicorn helmet. I asked her why and she said it was incase she fell and banged her head. So we had a mythical creature join us on training day.

The thing that is just making me down right happy is the continuous participation of my son. This kid is making strides he is joining in on a family/group activity. He is not fighting me on it. He is not way ahead of us or way behind us he is with us the whole time. This is just amazing I love it!

We are making progress everyday! Wednesday was not easy, Thursday was better we had a stress free day. Today we fold clothes and get ready for a trip this weekend!

I hope you all have a happy, healthy, and stress free weekend. Everyday we go through some rough patches the only thing we can do is recognize it and work toward handling each moment differently.

Thank you for taking the time and reading my blogs!

Where to begin! I am first a mom of three; one boy and two girls. We travel around the US with my husband and homeschool on the road! last year I learned to make homemade soap and sell it for a small income.
