Today was a Day for the Bird

I woke up with my head on the verge of a migraine, made breakfast of eggs and broccoli! We all piled in the car by 9am and were ready to go. I pushed in the break and the button to start the car to go and it would not start (key not detected). I should have just got my workout clothes on and did some HIIT instead.

I went back into the camper to get my key and could not find it anywhere. I go back out and the key was in the van! I have no idea why it did not start or why the brake would not go down so I could turn the car on but it wouldn’t. It took me a half an hour to even remember that I have one of those auto starters on my key fob and use it. Thank goodness the car started. So instead of just going grocery shopping we had to go to the dealership to get the battery changed in my key fobs.

After the dealership we went to Albertsons and did our shopping. The whole time we were there the kids just would not stop fighting. The next time the fighting happens we are leaving. Fighting in the grocery store is just not ok.

I should have left today but we needed to get the food. On the way to check out my son ran my heel over with the cart it actually made a little abrasion on my ankle. It hurt like hell! I know he did not mean to he was not paying attention but damn it hurt. He tried to soothe me and he apologized immediately but when I hurt don’t touch me. I should have let him hug me and I regret not allowing him to.

By the time we got home I just wanted to lay down and take a nap. Instead I had to put groceries away and think about making dinner. Alas I ended up only making turkey ham and cheese sandwiches with a salad.

When all the kids finally went to bed I checked on my sour kruat and it is coming along nicely. Tuesday marks two weeks so one more week and I can give it a try.

Tomorrow I will do my week one day three of HIIT! I think I am going to add five seconds onto my training.

Have a wonderful weekend!
