The four pictures above is when we were on our way to see the giant sequoia. We hiked through the wood’s and saw some fungus growing at the bottom of a pine tree. My husband and youngest kept going while my oldest and middle stayed with me.. You can guess what we had to do, to catch up we had to run up the path! This happened more than a couple times because there were a lot of distractions for me. So I had to constantly catch up with my family. One distraction were the mushrooms in the above picture. Then we kept finding some interesting plant life, for instance trees with hollows at the bottoms to explore, chattering squirrels that we had find and see, and some interesting rock formations.

I have a whole mess of other photos on my camera I am hoping to post at some point. If I forgot don’t hesitate to ask. I sometimes forget what needs to happen! Raising kids keeps me pretty busy.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
I love your tree shots! The roots photo is wonderful to see!

I shall resonate with your love of trees as follows:
Factories don’t make oxygen. Trees do. Respect nature.
In short, I love photos featuring magnificent trees full of character, and I often wonder what species of trees they belong to.
Happy December and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
