School Today

We started with rhythmic movement therapy, ate breakfast, and washed dishes. With a little help Kaarina willingly read three pages book today, afterwards she did her math without a hitch. The link below is a video that we followed through for our rhythmic movement therapy.

Instead of sitting with her and overseeing every aspect of her work I showed how to do the work on the chalkboard. She actually responded really well to that and completed her math without a fight. While she worked on her math I tended to my soap business. I had to get a few bars ready to get mailed out.

While I was getting things situated the girls decided it was time to clean their room! There was a lot of fighting and yelling and Charlotte is not listening to me she is not helping mom. I went to their room and as you can see in the picture below it was a disaster.

The blankets were piled high!
The clean clothes were yanked out of the drawer and the room was not even cleaned yet.

So today was learning to communicate with each other and how to use a kinder voice to get the help that you want with out screaming. Not to mention working together to solve a problem. After we ate lunch I went in and helped them finish up. Kaarina was able to put all her clean clothes away and Charlie picked up the rest of the legoes, papers, and crayons.

It was nice too because we were able to practice playing our violins today! I they all need to be tuned it sounded horrible! I have a violin tuner but the battery died so off to the store to by a battery for it!

Afterwards I had them all help match socks while I cooked dinner

Time to mate the socks!
Tower building at its finest.

I did not get around to my HIIT training I am hoping tomorrow though. I really do need to do this three times a week I am in a better mood and not to mention clothes fit better!

I hope you all have a wonderful night.
