This past week I have been able to fit in some self-care. The first thing I thought to do is to train for the couch to five k again. I am determined to make this continue this year and hopefully in the following years. Below are just some pictures of my resting heart rate from day one to day four.

I started on the second day of January and ran three days in a row taking a break on Thursday and running again on Friday (this run might just be a hike up a steep mountain instead).

About my endless restarting of my exercise regimen, it is because I would get stuck on the visible results rather than the invisible results not to mention I kept getting sidetracked with all the things that I needed to do and put my self-care routine on the back burner.

This year is going to be different though. It is different because my husband was offered a remote job so he is home with us working while we work and do school. This means when the girls and I get two subjects completed I can take off for 30 minutes without worrying that my kids are fighting. It is such a relief and I able to just think about the run rather than what I am going to hear or see when I get home.

My son wants to join me again but I have a feeling that it may not happen for a while 😆. This is going to be the last long blog post for my self-care after this one I am going to just post pictures of my resting heart rate while exercising. I might write another post when I add more to the routine but that is it.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope that this did not bore you too much. Quite honestly there is only so much I can write about exercising. Please hit the like button or a leave a comment. I hope everyone weekend is enjoyable.
