Week 5 day 2!

My girls joining me! Maybe while I am running I worry about them the whole time; so I try to go fast to get done quicker. Even though I know that the time is the same, when I run fast or slow.

Today’s run was amazing! My girls accompanied me so this made me realize that I need a running partner. My pace is slower and I do not push myself so much. Or maybe I just need them to join me so I do not worry about them while running. My mental thoughts are if I can run really fast it will get done faster and I’ll be back before they wake up. Or hurry up get this done so they do not get scared and come looking for me.

Loved the eight minute runs!

In any case the eight minute runs were great and energizing! I did not pant or get dizzy which in turn made my run more enjoyable!

My averages for today!

With the slower pace and my girls participation this morning, I was able to control my Breathing better and fill my belly not my lungs. It also helped me not have to breath in through my mouth so much during a run. Which in turn helped me keep my mouth shut more when taking a deep breath.

Love running and getting out of my own way!

Even though I am enjoying my training with couch to 5k/10k. I feel exhausted at the same time energized not sure if that makes any sense but I will be taking a two day break instead of the one. So Saturday will be my next run. I hope you all have had a wonderful day!
