Yesterday I trained with my couch to 5k/10k app. About half way through all three of the children came out and did a lap with me on their bikes. The run was amazing. No tiredness before or during the Training.

I was able to run for the first 10 minutes without wanting to quit and my breathing was on point. After three minutes of walking it was time to run for another 10. Maybe three quarters of the way through I stepped on a speed bump the wrong way and rolled my ankle a little. I walked it off for 30 seconds and completed the run. If it wasn’t for landing on my foot wrong I could have run a bit longer I enjoyed it that much.
I noticed lately that doing this cardiovascular activity has indeed helped with my mental mess. I usually find someone to take the kids to go grocery shopping. or leave them with their father; when he is not working. The last few times though I have taken them with me and I did not feel overwhelmed from all of the commotion.
I used to literally feel very overwhelmed with the flourescent lighting, noise from all the other people, and not to mention the constant grabbing, asking, talking from my rug rats made it impossible for me to remember what I need to buy. It was pointless for me to bring a list of items because I barley had enough time to look at it before having to remind them of what they were not allowed to do.
The last couple of trips though I did not feel the usual overwhelm of times past. My oldest even asked me if I was feeling ok. With my calmness my children were calm and I was able to buy all the food that we need for the week. These are just some of the changes I have noticed. I feel like myself again.

Yesterday afternoon we were also able to go to a pick your own flower farm. The name of the farm is “Coastal Ridge Farm”. The farm is located in Picayune, Mississippi.

There is just something very relaxing getting in touch with nature. Doing busy work helps the mind be at ease and gives you a sense of all is right in the world.

At the end of the picking session my friend and I learned that if you keep the seeds separated the sunflowers will grow very big heads and stems. If you grow multiple seeds together they will grow smaller. Also these particular sunflowers are single baring with only a few that well branch off from another sunflower.
