DeathValley

We were lucky enough to go to Death Valley! Home of the lowest point in North America Badwater basin. We also did a couple canyon drive through’s and listened to the app on the Star Wars episode that were filmed there. I have a ton of picture of everything we explored down below. I had to delete some but most are there. One thing I learned about death valley is that it is hot and dry. So if you are from colder climates be sure to pack for summer. Or heck spring the time when it is warm but gets cold as soon as the sun goes down.

Salt Creek is where pupfish are able to survive but really no other fish can. The creatures that do live in this area tend to drink from the plants that filter the salt out of the water while they are drinking it. The salt is so high in the creek that if animals consume it they could become dried out.

We went to several places here, but I took way too many pictures to share them all. It is amazing to be able to see the places that are only seen in pictures for a lot of people. Not to mention my kids being able to see all these places while we travel for work. I can only hope that the memories we are making are remembered by the girls as they grow and become young adults.

I hope everyone has had nice day today and thank you for stopping by.
