Group couch to 5K/10K Week 1 Day 1

As I have mentioned before my girls have been wanting to train with me. I took the opportunity to restart the whole program today. I also told my son that he is doing it with us. I expected some type of argument and stubbornness about physical activity.  To my surprise and delight he went into his room and changed into comfortable clothes and got his sneakers on instead of his slip on shoes.

Ever since he was little even though he had so much pent up energy, I could not get him to participate in any type of physical activity. It got to the point of me just not doing it with him and making him do it on his own.

Today is the first day in his life that he willingly trained with me. You all have no idea how much this has made my day! I am just over the moon! Usually when he participates he gets so far ahead of us that I continually had to keep getting him to come back, this time he stayed with us and we did the couch to 5k/10k as a family unit. Writting this is making me cry happy tears right now.

I have striving for this since he was 3 years old. The first picture is all of taking and doing the five minute warm up he is so dang tall that he is just unable to walk at his sisters pace.

This picture was after our first One minute run.
This is the results of running with the girls! Kaarina and Lucas could of run faster but we all stayed at Charlotte’s pace.

Sunday is the next day we train together! I hope you all have a wonderful afternoon!

Where to begin! I am first a mom of three; one boy and two girls. We travel around the US with my husband and homeschool on the road! last year I learned to make homemade soap and sell it for a small income.
