Group Couch to 5k/10k week 3 day 1/school

The last couple days have been a little rough for my middle daughter. She has a hard time with math and reading! I am being more consistent with having her read and do her math workbook instead of just doing mental math. Yesterday was pretty hard with some fighting and unwillingness to do her work and get the requested books out.. So I decided to have her read to her father last night and he says “where are your reading glasses”.. Well let’s just I feel like a total nimkapoop right now.

After glasses were put on she read her book with no problems whatsoever. She also did math with minimum argument. We had breakfast after we did those two subjects and watched a YouTube video one the ancient ruins of California, for history. Right after that we went for our run. The girls were not very eager to train but they did it.

I am actually very impressed that we all ran for the three minute increments without giving up and crying the whole time. I am sure it can’t be easy for their little legs to run as fast or as long as three minute’s. Lucas on the other hand has loosened up a little while he runs but he is still stiff. I am hoping that he will start wanting to do some yoga eventually to help with posture and loosening his muscles.

The itinerary for the week! Or maybe today! Hmm we will find out Saturday that is for sure.
Stomping off because they did not want to run!
Our results for today!

I almost forgot we also went to the red rocks today to do a little hiking. The girls decided that it would be fun to slide down the hills on their bottoms to get down to a flat surface. Charlie wore a dress with some legging and ripped the bottom of her pants. Luckily she pulled her dress up and made sure that it did not get ripped.

The lone kid. Blending right into the background!
I just loved this rock formation and how the sun was shining on it.
My girls spotted this and imagined that it was some little creatures home.
The view is just amazing!

Thank you for reading. I am working on the last leg of our journey California. Hopefully I will have it complete by Monday night. For now I hope you have had a good day and a restful night!

Where to begin! I am first a mom of three; one boy and two girls. We travel around the US with my husband and homeschool on the road! last year I learned to make homemade soap and sell it for a small income.
